The knitting and crochet skills of Debbie Abrahams and myself are combined together in this must have collection of sophisticated designs for the home. There are many projects to choose from including cushion covers, blankets, bed runners and bags, all of which have been designed with a contemporary flair making them ideal accessories for the modern home.
We have designed 24 projects - the knit projects have been designed by Debbie and the crochet projects by myself. All projects use lovely vibrant shades of yarn from the Rowan range. Some of the projects are large scale, such as the bed sized blankets and throws, whilst other projects use just a few balls of yarn and would make ideal gifts or weekend projects.
Our desire to work on a project together has been long standing, indeed the design inspiration for this title comes from a workshop trip we jointly tutored in the South West France some years ago. There is currently a massive trend for knitted and crochet home ware and bright colours and geometric patterns are currently very fashionable making it the perfect time for 'Kaleidoscope' to be on the market.
Debbie and myself share the same passion for vibrant colours and surface design and we feel that our projects sit wonderfully together as a beautiful contemporary and on trend home collection. Each design is fully illustrated with vibrant photographs throughout and the hard back format gives the book perpetual 'coffee table' appeal.
