Learn how to Knit Socks with Tess from Fluff and Nonsense 18th March

Join Tess from Fluff and Nonsense on the 24th January and learn how to knit your very own socks!

When:

18th March 2026 from 2 pm - 6 pm

Participants will be given a copy of Basic Nonsense Socks courtesy of Tess as part of the cost of the class. Tess will demonstrate cast ons, heel flaps/turning and gussets, and methods of closing toes. Tess will also discuss pros and cons of different fibres used for sock yarns.

Students need to bring sock yarn that has been pre-wound into cakes, or purchase at Yarn Me Calm. Students will have time to work on socks they have previously attempted, or can work on the Basic Nonsense Socks. Students will leave with a copy of Basic Nonsense Socks and notes taken during the class.

Students will need to know how to knit in the round, but this can be done with Magic Loop, Double Pointed Needles, or with Addi Trios.

Please Note: A 10% workshop discount will be offered to class students on the day- this discount will not be applied to anything that is already reduced. Terms and Conditions do apply

Full payment is required prior to the start of the workshop to confirm your spot.

You can cancel or change dates up to 10 days prior to the workshop and receive a full refund. This ensures your spot can be made available for another interested student.

Less than 10 days prior to the workshop we will be unable to reschedule or refund the cost. You may however transfer your booking to a friend or receive store credit to the value of the workshop.

All workshops will run if there are more than three people attending. However, if there is a sole person attending, it will be cancelled, and you will be offered a full refund or to transfer to another date. This will be done at least 3 days before the event.

If for any reason Yarn Me Calm must cancel a workshop for any other reason you will be offered a full refund or offered to transfer to another date.
