Kathy Vasic, the designer behind Driftwood Cottage Designs and a passionate crocheter with over 50 years of experience, will guide you through creating a narrow triangle shawl. You'll learn how to make blossoms or buds pop using a hybrid popcorn stitch when you reach the coloured sections of your hand-dyed yarn. Whether you finish it off with tassels or leave it as is, this shawl will be a beautiful addition to your wardrobe.

Join us for a creative and inspiring 3 hour workshop and leave with the beginning of a gorgeous shawl and newfound crochet techniques.

 Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:

·      4.5mm crochet hook

·      2 skeins of 4 ply assigned pooling yarn

·      Crochet stitch markers

·      Scissors and yarn needle for finishing

·      Notebook and pen

Full payment is required prior to the start of the workshop to confirm your spot.

You can cancel or change dates up to 10 days prior to the workshop and receive a full refund. This ensures your spot can be made available for another interested student.

Less than 10 days prior to the workshop we will be unable to reschedule or refund the cost. You may however transfer your booking to a friend or receive store credit to the value of the workshop.

All workshops will run if there are more than three people attending. However, if there is a sole person attending, it will be cancelled, and you will be offered a full refund or to transfer to another date. This will be done at least 3 days before the event.

If for any reason Yarn Me Calm must cancel a workshop for any other reason you will be offered a full refund or offered to transfer to another date.
