Viscose tops roving made from regenerated wood pulp in a variety of colours. Viscose roving makes a wonderful addition to felting. Also great for macramé / hand weaving as well as making ‘silk paper’, doll hair & other fibre arts. Economical and static-free, these combed viscose tops possess the lustre and feel of silk. The fibre will not wet felt on its own, but adds strength and reduces pilling on felted items. In the production process, combing after dyeing makes it easy to use and a little goes a long way.
These plant based tops weigh approximately 50 gm. Their addition in wearables, reduces the itchiness of wool that some people experience.
